A Blue Super Giant Star was discovered in the Constellation Virgo

An Indian scientist and his colleague from Taiwan discovered a blue super-giant star located in the constellation Virgo. Scientists used the Subaru Telescope, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) and the Canada-France-Hawaii-Telescope (CFHT) to locate the star.
The Virgo cluster is located about 55 million light years from Earth. The Blue giant star is estimated to emerge over 55 million years ago. The details revealed by the Subaru could help in knowing more facts related to star formation.
